Favorite Dishes From Our Spring and Summer Dine-In Menu

As the seasons change, so does the Dine-In Menu at UP on the Roof in Greenville, SC! During the warmer Spring and Summer months, we’re serving up a variety of creative, Southern-inspired dishes made with fresh produce like strawberries, cucumbers, corn, wild mushrooms and more.

And the best part? You get to savor these seasonal flavors while taking in stunning views of Downtown Greenville, the Reedy River, and the Blue Ridge Mountains from our rooftop restaurant, located on the eighth floor of the Embassy Suites at RiverPlace.

Read on to learn more about a few of our favorite dishes – available now at UP on the Roof in Greenville, SC. From the farm to the ranch to the sea, there’s something for everyone on the new Dine-In Menu at UP on the Roof.

From the Farm

Grilled Chicken + Strawberry Salad: Chicken fresh off the grill plus summery strawberries makes for a perfect warm-weather salad. For even more flavor, we added savory goat cheese, pine nuts, and a sweet strawberry vinaigrette.

Grilled Avocado: Guacamole isn’t the only way to enjoy the ever-popular avocado. At UP on the Roof, we grill our avocado and top it with pico de gallo, green tomato and corn relish, a fried egg, and toast points. Then we serve it all on top of a local microgreens salad.

From the Ranch

Rabbit Tacos: Talk about a twist on classic tacos! Instead of the typical fillings, we use savory rabbit meat, tangy North Carolina barbecue sauce, fennel and blue cheese slaw, watermelon salsa, and sunflower sprouts.

Lamb T-Bone: When you hear the phrase “T-bone,” you probably think of beef, but that will change when you try our lamb T-bone steak. We serve this robust, bone-in chop with grilled asparagus, a cucumber and lentil salad, and creamy Greek-inspired tzatziki sauce.

From the Sea

Bayou Crabcakes: We turned this Chesapeake Bay classic on its head by topping it with a gastrique made from Cheerwine, the Carolinas’ favorite bubbly beverage. The crabcakes come with our green tomato and corn relish, plus traditional New Orleans style remoulade sauce for dipping.

Chilled Crab Stack: Best enjoyed on a warm afternoon, this refreshing salad contains mild watercress, umami wakame, and delicious crabmeat, all topped with a tangy citrus-avocado dressing.

To Share—Or Not!

Chicken Fajita Nachos: Although it’s technically a shareable appetizer, we totally understand if you want to devour these indulgent nachos all by yourself! Our nachos for Spring and Summer come dressed with lettuce, tomato, black beans, jalapeño, beer cheese, creme fraîche, and sweet-and-spicy Jamaican jerk sauce.

Don’t Forget Dessert!

Brûléed Banana Split: Dessert doesn’t get any more summery than a banana split. Of course, this dish includes a split banana with vanilla ice cream in the middle, all topped with chocolate sauce and cherries. But here’s where we buck tradition: We brûlée the banana split—caramelizing the sugar on top—and sprinkle a generous serving of toasted coconut.
